3INA Achieves Prestigious B Corp Certification
After 10 months of thorough verification, Spanish beauty brand 3INA has become the first global colour cosmetics brand to achieve B Corp certification.
Administered by the nonprofit B Lab, B Corp certification involves answering over 300 questions related to governance, workers, communities, and environmental impact.
3INA joins the global B Corp movement, which includes over 8,342 companies worldwide and 2,644 in the UK. Other beauty brands with this certification include The Inkey List, Elemis, and Aesop.
In its assessment, 3INA scored 86.3 points "without needing to adjust internal standards and processes." To qualify, businesses must score at least 80 points.
3INA's ESG efforts include supporting social causes, reducing its carbon footprint, promoting traceability, and providing Ethics & Compliance training to all employees, among other initiatives.
"We feel truly honored to join the community of just 8,263 B Corp companies worldwide certified to benefit all stakeholders," the brand stated.
"B Corp status is not a destination but another step in 3INA’s journey to ensure a positive impact in everything we do and keep improving our sustainable and social initiatives."
Founded in Spain in 2016 and available in over 40 countries, 3INA is known for its colorful makeup and skincare products and its no-rules mentality. It launched in the UK in September 2022, exclusively at Superdrug.
