Byoma Revolutionizes Skincare with Vegan Snail Mucin Alternative

Viral skincare sensation Byoma has unveiled a groundbreaking vegan alternative to snail mucin, poised to redefine skincare efficacy. Their new ingredient, phytomucin, promises the same powerful benefits as its animal-derived counterpart, including deep hydration, even skin tone, and improved texture.

Phytomucin, a bio-based ingredient sourced from polysaccharide-rich Japanese roots and plants, works by reducing water loss and fortifying the skin's barrier function. This key ingredient stars in Byoma's new Phyto Mucin Glow Serum.

This lightweight, fast-absorbing serum boasts a non-sticky formula that enhances skin elasticity, delivering a radiant, plump, and glowing complexion. Beyond phytomucin, the serum also features:

  • A tri-ceramide complex to repair the skin barrier and restore moisture.

  • Plant-based biopeptide to repair skin damage and strengthen the skin.

  • Panthenol, a potent humectant, to soothe redness, irritation, and sensitivity.

  • Three molecular weights of hyaluronic acid for multi-level hydration.

Byoma founder, Marc Elrick, calls the Phyto Mucin Glow Serum the result of five years of research and development, claiming it's "one of the most clinically efficacious and revolutionary serums ever developed." He emphasizes its comprehensive approach to barrier repair, targeting hydration, brightening, redness reduction, wrinkle improvement, and sensitivity, all while strengthening the skin barrier. Elrick believes no other serum on the market offers such a complete and clinically proven solution.

Since launching in 2022, Byoma has gained popularity for its science-backed, barrier-boosting formulations and distinctive packaging. The brand simplifies skincare routines by focusing on skin barrier health. Each product undergoes at least two independent clinical trials.

The Phyto Mucin Glow Serum is available online at Boots and will launch at Cult Beauty, Sephora UK, Selfridges, and Amazon on February 2nd.

Alongside the serum, Byoma is also launching a Barrier Repair Eye Cream, formulated with a Barrier Lipid Complex, copper tripeptides, and ectoin to revitalize and restore the under-eye area.
