OBJECTIVE
Iconic London and Beauty Buddy partnered to leverage the power of Consumer-Generated Content (CGC) to boost awareness and engagement for their Radiance Booster and Triple Thread Mascara across social media.
By tapping into our community of passionate beauty buddies, the campaign aimed to amplify Iconic London's brand message and drive consumer interaction.
SOLUTION? REAL REVIEWS, REAL RESULTS
From our Beauty Squad, we handpicked the participants, that had the best fit with Iconic Londons target audience.
Each consumer received the Radiance Booster and Triple Thread Mascara to use and review.
In exchange the participants added their own authentic content to their personal social media channels showcasing both products. They also added their review and video content to Beauty Buddy, the app.
PARTICIPATION
86% posted content to social media!
86% of our Beauty Squad members actively shared their authentic video content of the Iconic London product to their personal social media platforms, far exceeding the guaranteed 70% participation rate.
Some participants post their content on multiple social media platforms or include unboxing content as well as them using the product. The number of posts for this campaign compared to the number of participants was 174% of Beauty Buddy Squad campaign participants posting authentic video content to social media.
POSITIVE SENTIMENT
Our sentiment analysis revealed an exceptionally high positive sentiment score of 90.78 out of 100, reflecting the genuine enthusiasm of our Beauty Buddies for the product.
STELLAR REVIEWS
The Radiance Booster received an overall average rating of 4.9 in Beauty Buddy, the app. 83% of the reviews, added by participants in this Campaign, were rated 5 stars.
Part of our Consumer-Generated Content Campaigns is to send the products to members of our Beauty Squad that meet the brands criteria. They use the product and then add their honest reviews including their video content to Beauty Buddy, the app.
The reviews and the video content are provided to Iconic London so that they can use and edit them across their e-commerce and marketing platforms.
These reviews are also visible to anyone using the app. Recently added reviews appear on the app’s newsfeed. Anyone searching for the product or that scans the product barcode will land on the product page showcasing all the reviews added by our Beauty Buddies. This provides the social proof that consumers need when researching a product.
