L’OREAL’S VALUE SURPASSES $12 BILLION, LEADING THE COSMETICS INDUSTRY

L’Oréal has maintained its position as the "world's most valuable cosmetics brand" for the fourth consecutive year.

L’Oréal has maintained its position as the "world's most valuable cosmetics brand" for the fourth consecutive year, as revealed by Brand Finance's Cosmetics 50 2023 list.

The beauty company's value surpassed $12 billion, marking an increase from last year's $11.2 billion valuation.

Brand Finance's report also recognized L’Oréal for attaining the highest Sustainability Perceptions Value, reaching $1.24 billion. In terms of the Sustainability Perceptions Score, French beauty brand Yves Rocher took the lead with a score of 5.87 out of 10.

L’Oréal operates in over 150 countries and possesses a global portfolio comprising more than 30 brands, such as Urban Decay, Garnier, NYX Cosmetics, La Roche-Posay, Vichy, and Kerastase.

Brand Finance's analysis attributed L’Oréal's dominance to its effective digital marketing strategies and strong online presence.

Furthermore, the report highlighted L’Oréal's success in continually expanding and innovating its product range, a critical element contributing to the brand's strength in the investment arena.

Annie Brown, Director of Brand Finance, commented on L'Oréal's achievement, stating that the company's CEO, Hieronimus, has a forward-thinking and strategic vision for its future.

As L'Oréal continues to expand its global influence, Brown emphasized the importance of prioritizing innovation, sustainability, and digital transformation in order to maintain its position as a leader in the industry.

  2. Estée Lauder - valued at $7.1 billion.

  3. Nivea - valued at $6.6 billion.

  4. Gillette - valued at $6.5 billion.

  5. Dove - valued at $6.4 billion.

  6. Guerlain - valued at $6.3 billion.

  7. Lancôme - valued at $5.1 billion.

  8. Clinique - valued at $4.8 billion.

  9. Pantene - valued at $4.6 billion.

  10. Garnier - valued at $4.1 billion.
