DREST PARTNERS WITH BAKEUP TO BRING HYPER-REAL BEAUTY LOOKS TO MOBILE GAME

The collaboration between BAKEUP and DREST allows everyone to explore their own art-inspired storytelling on their avatars.

DREST, the luxury styling mobile game, has partnered with BAKEUP, the digital-first beauty brand co-founded by renowned British celebrity makeup artist Jo Baker and LA-based musician Grace Gaustad.

In DREST's BEAUTY MODE gameplay, seven of BAKEUP's most playful looks will be integrated, allowing gamers or "stylists" to experiment with "hyper-real, close-up" beauty styles on their avatars.

These looks include the Disco Veiler Eye Adornment, featuring illusion mesh and micro-crystals.

As well as the Playbox by Jo Baker, which offers various face gems, providing players with the opportunity to explore eye-catching looks, ranging from subtle sparkle in the corner of the eye to a striking full-face lightning bolt.

All seven looks are now available in the game until June 15th. To celebrate PRIDE month, BAKEUP will introduce two additional looks in early June.

Moreover, DREST will incorporate BAKEUP's Playscape, a virtual experience that pushes the boundaries of experiential beauty, as a bespoke photoshoot location in the game, enabling DREST stylists to place their avatars in captivating settings.

BAKEUP, a digital-first brand focused on pushing the limits of experiential beauty and self-expression, was founded with the intention of inspiring boundless creativity.

Co-Founder Jo Baker, an accomplished artist, expresses excitement about seeing their imaginative designs come to life in other worlds through the partnership with DREST.

Co-Founder Grace Gaustad believes that each face tells a unique story, and leveraging the power of makeup and beauty serves as the ultimate means of self-expression.

Gaustad embraces new opportunities for experimenting with beauty to express different moments, moods, and emotions.

The collaboration between BAKEUP and DREST allows everyone to explore their own art-inspired storytelling on their avatars.

DREST, founded by Lucy Yeomans, former Editor in Chief of Harper's Bazaar and Net-A-Porter's PORTER magazine, is a gaming company that seamlessly merges the realms of luxury, beauty, and lifestyle with the limitless possibilities of the metaverse.

Since its launch in 2019, DREST has partnered with renowned names in fashion, beauty, and luxury, including Cartier, Christian Louboutin, Gucci, Prada, Josh Wood, and supermodel Kate Moss, who has appeared as a guest avatar.

Lucy Yeomans expresses great enthusiasm for the partnership, emphasizing the growing excitement around avatar personalization in gaming. She highlights Jo Baker's undeniable artistry, which has translated into creating real-life looks for notable celebrities, as well as BAKEUP's digital-first makeup brand.

Yeomans is thrilled to collaborate with Jo Baker and Grace Gaustad to bring their visionary designs to life within the DREST game.
