L’OREAL GROUP RECOGNIZED IN 2023 BLOOMERG GENDER-EQUALITY INDEX

L'Oreal Group has been recognized by the Bloomberg Gender-Equality Index (GEI) for creating an inclusive and equal work environment.

L'Oreal Group has been recognised by the Bloomberg Gender-Equality Index (GEI) for creating an inclusive and equal work environment. It's their sixth consecutive year !

The GEI measures gender equality across five pillars, including : leadership and talent pipeline, equal pay and gender pay parity, inclusive culture, anti-sexual harassment policies, and external brand.

L'Oreal is among the 484 companies from 45 countries and regions that are part of the 2023 Gender-Equality Index. 

Margaret Johnston-Clarke, Global Chief Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Officer, added that empowering all genders, strengthening an inclusive culture, and offering support and training to women in leadership positions is vital for L'Oreal's vision.

Chairman of Bloomberg and founding chairman of the U.S. 30% Club, Peter T. Grauer, congratulated the companies included in the 2023 GEI and emphasised the importance of transparency in gender-related metrics.

Nicolas Hieronimus, CEO of L'Oreal Group, expressed his honor in receiving this recognition and credited the company's inclusive and people-driven culture.
